Amazon Essentials Men’s Long-Sleeve Flannel Shirt (Available in Big & Tall)

Took a punt on this instead of some preloved branded shirts from Fleabay, not disappointed by this garment in general.
Decent quality fabric, nice cut and stitching and I like the fact that it has one breast pocket that’s not immediately obvious. (Material not rotated 45° like most other “budget’ check shirts – spoils the look for me)
Size L is is probably closer to most high street brands XL so keep that in mind. Bought to fit 43/44″ chest, I don’t mind the fact it’s a little more roomy as the cut of the shirt is pretty flattering. Fairly thick fabric is good for 80% of British weather and seems to be holding up well to wearing washing and drying so far..

Decent range of colours and sizes, prime delivery, free returns and not a bad product overall. Can’t hurt to try. Surprisingly good value for the money.

Just don’t think about where it’s made and the conditions in the factory…

Da ich die Hemden hier echt super finde, habe ich mir bereits noch ein paar weitere davon bestellt. Und da die Rezensionen der Hemden leider zusammengefasst werden, werde ich meine Rezension lediglich immer um ein paar Fotos ergänzen, damit sie sehen wie sie in echt aussehen….Bisher bin ich nicht enttäuscht worden. Die Ärmel sind um ca 1cm zu lang, aber damit kann ich gut leben…

Wer gute und vor allem auch günstige Flanell-Hemden braucht, kommt an diese hier nicht vorbei.

Geliefert wird das Flanell-Hemd von „Amazon-Basics in einem Plastikbeutel, was bei einem Hemd aber auch vollkommen ausreichend ist. So ist es vor Feuchtigkeit geschützt und kann auf dem Transportweg keinen Schaden nehmen.

Was ich bei dem Hemd besonders gut finde ist, dass man bei ihm keine einzige Nadel zum zusammenhalten verwendet wurde. Viele andere Hersteller nehmen dafür unendlich viele Nadeln, die man erst umständlich rauspfrimeln muss. Hier wurde das Hemd lediglich zusammengelegt. Auch wenn das nicht gerade professionell gemacht wurde

Dieses Hemd ist total flauschig und weich. Es ist sehr angenehm auf der Haut zu tragen. Alle Nähte und Knöpfe sind sauber vernäht. Nirgendwo stehen Fäden heraus. Es wärmt in der kalten Jahreszeit sehr gut.

Mir passt das Hemd hervorragend. Ich habe einen leichten Bauchansatz und trage in der Regel großes M mit Kragenweite 39/40. Dieses Hemd in Gr. M sitzt bei mir gut und bequem. Es passt quasi wie angegossen. Es ist am Hals und am Bauch nicht zu weit oder zu eng. Der Kragen sitzt locker und die Ärmel sind auch nicht zu lang oder zu kurz. Was soll ich außer “super” noch sagen?

Ich hoffe das sich daran auch nach der ersten Wäsche nichts daran ändern wird. Sollte ich meine Rezension nicht ergänzen, passt es mir auch nach der Wäsche genauso wie vorher auch.

Das Einzige was ich zu bemängeln habe ist das das Hemd in Bangladesch gefertigt wurde. Bangladesch ist ein Billiglohnland und für die Ausbeutung von Arbeitnehmern bekannt. Ob das hier der Fall ist kann ich nicht beurteilen und ich werde dies auch nicht tun. Obwohl ich das Herstellungsland nicht mit in die Bewertung einfließen lasse, wollte ich es hier erwähnen. Da ich in meinen Recherchen aber nichts darüber gefunden habe, werde ich erst mal keine Hemden mehr von dieser Marke kaufen, bis ich etwas Gegenteiliges erfahren habe.

I was a faithful wearer of flannel shirts when I was young. They were made well and were comfortable. They lasted a long time and stayed very wrinkle free. For year I could not find a flannel shirt like this. Until now. These shirts are very close in comfort and style. They wash well and have held up so far. The material is not the same as the old days but they are good just a bit on the thin side. They keep you warm and comfortable. Wrinkles are less if you wash them as instructed. Great value! Nice shirt! Reminiscent of the old days.

I would consider this shirt very lightweight, not for northern climate. Good for FL cool weather

The Amazon Essential plaid shirts are very comfortable and easy to care for. The fit is good and the quality is not bad. They come out of the dryer wrinkle free. The only negative thing I could say about them is that the collar tends to curl up on them. I wish they would have put a button on the collar to keep them from curling up. But, all in all a good shirt for the price.
